Car Shopping in Bare Feet: "You Must Save A Lot on Shoes?"

While on a dealer car lot shopping for a vehicle, the salesman that we were beginning a transaction with commented, "You must save a lot on shoes." I was barefoot, and I wanted to reply, "I have to in order to pay for your commission on this sale." Instead, I smiled and haggled a decent deal on a used minivan for the family. And to think, that van could have been 100 new pairs of Vibram FiveFingers.
